Doug and Gail Nesbit purchased McBrides Monumental Services Ltd from McBride Bros in April 1994. In 2022 Mcbrides Monumental is now under the new Ownership of Jenna Melvin who is a Qualified Monumental Mason.

As a member of the New Zealand Master Monumental Masons Association (NZMMMA), the passionate team will guide you through the process of selecting a memorial headstone or plaque representing your loved one.

With a focus on restoration, cleaning and maintenance of headstones, as well as new headstones and additions, McBrides Monumental service a large area throughout South Otago including Lawrence, Milton, Balclutha, Clinton, Owaka and surrounding areas in the Clutha District. 

Headstones crafted in Balclutha

All headstones are crafted on-site with granite imported from overseas.  We use granite for our headstones as this stone is resilient to our weather conditions.
