Headstone Additions

McBrides Monumental Services in Balclutha are members of the New Zealand Master Monumental Masons Association (NZMMMA) and are passionate about headstone additions. We also do restoration work, cleaning, lettering and resurfacing, if needed. We also complete full refurbishments including replacing cracked cement around graves and accurately repairing fallen or leaning statues and memorials.

McBrides Monumental Services can add family names and details to exsiting headstones, matching in with the traditional fonts and styles already on the headstone. Our additions Can be Done on-site or in house . We work to match the lettering and design to fit in with the existing layout and text.

Headstone inscriptions

When it comes to headstone additions, we undertake onsite inspections, throughout the Clutha District and South Otago, taking an inscribing of the current design, before we begin the process of reproducing any extra additions to the headstone. Our skilled designers and stonemasons can reproduce any headstone inscriptions and we use computer technology to accurately and effectively fit and match the formatting and typography. We can also complete restorations and re-lettering.
